by Paul on February 17, 2010

(Yes, I know the lighting is weird.  I’ll work on that for next time! – Paul.)

Ministry and Missions That Catalyze Movements

Class Size: Class size is between 5-10 people.

Dates: The class will meet once a week in March.  I will talk with the applicants to set a weekly time and day that is best for them.  There will be 10 classes total. Each class will be two hours long.

Location: Online (Skype and Ustream).

Cost: Free, with a catch.  When you are accepted into the program, you have to make a $50 deposit.  You will get your $50 deposit back at the end of the last class if you attended every class or made up any classes that you missed.  If you drop out, or if you miss a class and don’t make it up, I get to keep your $50.

Application Deadline: February 28, 2010

Prerequisites: You must have a computer, a high-speed internet connection, Skype, a webcam, a microphone, and earphones.  You will also need a Bible, a notebook, and a pen/pencil.

Application Process:

  1. Submit a standard resume with detailed contact information. (I want to know your history.) (Update: Send it to my email address – onlinedisciples at gmail dot com.)
  2. Provide a list of your online social media profiles.  (It doesn’t have to be long.  I just want to see what you’ve been doing online.) If you blog, include the URL.
  3. Provide one reference.  (I will need to actually talk with your references before you are accepted into the program.) I need it to be someone who knows the story of how you came to Christ and how you are growing in relationship with Him.
  4. I will let you know if you’ve been accepted to the program via SMS (that way you have my cell number).
  5. If you are accepted into the program, you need to make your $50 deposit for the class via PayPal.  No credit cards or checks accepted.

What will we cover?

Each class will have two parts.  The first part of the class will be an inductive Bible study of passages of Scripture that relate to ministry and missions that catalyze movements.  The second part covers the application of those principles within your mission field.

Homework: There will be at least 2 hours of homework every week.
