I gave an improptu talk at the Internet Evangelism Conference in Grand Rapids. The conversation was ‘Evangelism and Social Media.’ I enjoyed myself and I hope others got something useful out of the experience.
I think the hardest thing to remember at an internet ministry conference is that everything we do – all the technology and online tools – have one purpose: to introduce people to Jesus. Everything we do has to be about Jesus and people or it is all pointless.
So, if you are doing online ministry and can have an entire conversation without talking about God’s Word or showing people His love, you might want to rethink your priorities.
